3 Sake, 3 otsumami

We have organised the 1st sake tasting session.

The founder is a lawyer qualified in Japan, and he worked for an international law firm called Allen & Overy. Specialised in cross-border M&A transactions, he very much liked the firm, surrounded by a number of great colleagues. If he were not passionate about sake's global expansion, he would not have left the firm.

It was a great pleasure to have an opportunity to run a sake tasting session for Allen & Overy. We have prepared three different sake bottles (all prepared just for us) and three pairing food (otsumami). It was great turnout - I had never seen such a large number of audience virtually - and was very emotional to have seen a lot of familiar faces enjoying the sake we prepared. The session started from the introduction of Story of Sake, Ltd, moved on to "Sake 101" and then to the tasting session. Usually this type of virtual drink ends in 30 - 60 minutes, but this one went as far as two hours.

We want to take this opportunity to thank all the Allen & Overy members, and look forward to the next one.
